If you find other tanks roughly the same size as the Russ go ahead and post them as well as ways to fix them to fit the footprint/shape of a Russ. These are of course not the proportions of the Russ if it was real (im sure that is elsewhere) But I use it as a measuring stick for finding other tanks in 1/35th scale for Russes. 15 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 9 feet tall (give or take). Using its dimensions I have been searching for other tanks of similar proportions to a Leman Russ. the Leopard is only about 2 or 3mm shorter then the Russ. It is only about a quarter of an inch longer in the hull and about 2mm wider. The VK1602 on the other hand almost fits the Leman Russ Perfectly. I recommend widening the hull with sponsons or other bits like doubleing the track base. Ill get a side by side soon.įor the T-80 and Stuart the hulls are just about long enough if slightly longer but not wide enough. )Īnd German experimental VK1602 Leopard light tank. (and other variant like the version with the open top turret and short barreled 75mm. Strangely mostly Light Tanks of ww2 era (mostly early ww2) work best. The 1/35th scale makes the hatches just large enough to make sense for crew (as much sense as 40k allows). I have decided to put together a small list of 1/35th scale tanks that could fit the profile of a Leman Russ Battle Tank for others to find potential conversions.

Place some troops so at least attackers will have some losses on their side and maybe rethink to attack you again(especially when there is nothing to plunder as you followed rule #1: always collect your stuff). Have you placed some troops for defense? If not, your defending army will always consist of 2 spearmen. Collecting your stuff is the best way to prevent plundering. If you know you‘ll play FoE in 24h again, set everything to 24h. Collect your productions the moment they are ready to collect. It isn’t as harmful with low level GBs, but think about a Cape 58 where the owner could have collected 58+59=117FP and now just gets 59.Īs you get plundered a lot. Even better when you steal someones rewards. You wait until their Buildings are almost finished(1FP before lvl in best case) and dump your FP in to lvl it, denying the double dip. It’s kind of a revenge to attack other‘s GBs. A good manner is to let the owner level their GBs so they can collect twice. Double dip: collect the production, level your GB and collect again -> collecting twice per day. When you level a GB, its production will be ready to collect. Thankfully my GBs aren't high enough that I wouldn't care much if I got denied a double dip. I rarely plunder anything more than a house if I can help it, and that's just for the chance at a BP versus if you aided instead. Planting FPs in someone's GBs and slowly waiting to exact revenge long after they left your neighborhood? That's perfectly fair game. Warfare isn't always fought on the front lines but espionage and subterfuge plays a big part in it. Would you personally do so? If you were on the other end of the spectrum and you found out that someone you attacked was attacking your GBs, would you be less motivated to keep attacking/plundering them? Even if you don't get any rewards, all you have to put in is about 5 FPs or so and boom, they're denied that precious reward. But you look at their GB and you see you can snipe their Arc or Cape. You have no chance of retaliating by attacking the bigger city, especially if they have a massive defense that you just simply can't bypass. If you're on an alt city or on the lower end of the hood, you run at risk of being constantly attacked by certain players that will always plunder you. The question I present to the FoE group is this: Is it ever ok to attack another player's GBs by denying them their double dips? |
